The Insurance Times 2022/23 MGA Online Ratings Report is the first at a glance guide to trading, created for brokers by brokers, providing insight into how MGAs performed amongst brokers in the United Kingdom.

The five star ratings distil the key findings of the annual MGA survey into an indispensable advice tool to help brokers select the right MGA to partner with. MGA experience is classified using an easy to understand Five Star System.

This is the third year that Insurance Times has conducted the MGA survey, investigating brokers’ opinions, attitudes and levels of satisfaction with the services they receive from their MGA partners. And, for the third consecutive year, Insurance Times has given a star rating out of five, linked to score performance.

The ratings provide a practical tool for brokers to assess MGA service levels based on the experience of their peers, aiding in justifying recommendations for clients. They also help MGAs benchmark the performance they have offered to brokers over the last 12 months and address broker feedback in several key areas.

The Insurance Times eTrading Report is the first at a glance guide to eTrading, created for brokers by brokers. The ratings distil the key findings of the well-established eTrading survey into an indispensable advice tool to help brokers select the right insurer to etrade with.

Insurance Times has conducted its annual eTrading survey for the past 8 years, investigating brokers’ opinions, attitudes, and satisfaction levels with the Etrading services they receive from their insurance partners and software house providers.

For the fourth successive year we have also given a star rating out of five, linked to score performance. This approach aims to provide a more practical tool to help assess and benchmark yearly performance of insurer extranet platforms, broker management systems and the broker experience of trading with an insurer via a software house platform.
